The playground at Yanaguana Garden is designed to be an inclusive space and follows the American Disabilities Act standards for public playgrounds. It’s complete with climbing structures, dual disk swings, and our crowd favorite – the blue Boomerang.
This special play area for our small visitors aged 2-5 years old includes six forest-themed structures, an enclosed safety surface, and educational panels in multiple languages.
Cool off from the San Antonio sun at the Union Pacific Railroad Splash Pad! It’s open for play every day during the season between 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM. It has private changing booths, shade umbrellas, and Adirondack chairs nearby.
The Union Pacific Railroad Splash Pad is currently closed for the season and will reopen in March 2026.
Located in the heart of Yanaguana Garden, Central Games Plaza is where you can enjoy giant Chess and Checkers, Big Blue Blocks, and different community events hosted like group fitness classes!
The Kelleher Family Lawn is a beautiful green space to fly kites, throw frisbees, or have a picnic! It’s also home to the Hemisfair Host Garden, where herbs and flowers become snacks for caterpillars, and places for butterflies to lay their eggs.
Our Big Blue Blocks allow you to let your imagination run wild with creative building and strengthen the use of fine motor skills! Find them every Monday from 10 am – 12 pm in Central Games Plaza.
Unleash creativity by building magical sand sculptures using a hand-water pump and sand digger inside our Sand Play Area!
Kids and adults of ages are always welcome to enjoy Foosball, Ping Pong, Chess and Checkers, and Cornhole at our Small Games Area under the shade of mature trees.
The Springs are five water features where you can dip your toes in or race toy sailboats!
Whether it’s a major event festival or a weekend picnic, The Great Lawn is the perfect green space for our community to enjoy!
Thanks to funds from Spurs Give and the McCombs Family Foundation, the Red McCombs Community Court is a full-sized covered basketball court located in Tower Park.
