Virtual Story Time Community Reader: First Lady Erika Prosper Nirenberg

Oct 06 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

| Free

Your favorite Story Time is going digital! In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’ve invited a very special community reader to join us. San Antonio’s very own First Lady Erika Prosper Nirenberg will read Alma and How She Got Her Name by Juana Martinez-Neal.

Ms. Erika grew up as a migrant in the Rio Grande Valley, and now holds a Master’s in Communication from the University of Pennsylvania Annenberg School. She is an executive at H-E-B’s headquarters and was named the 2019 Woman of the Year by the San Antonio Business Journal.

The first 100 to register will receive a Zoom code via email to access Story Time. Each week, we’ll post a new registration form on hemisfair.org/events. Registration will remain open until filled or until 5 p.m. Monday.

Virtual Story Time is made possible by Cavender Auto Family, Community First Health Plans, Dollar General Literacy Foundation, OCI Solar Power and individual donations to the Hemisfair Conservancy.

Note: Only one individual needs to register on behalf of each household.
