Hemisfair Welcomes Anne Krause
Hemisfair is Pleased to Announce the Hiring of Anne Krause as the New Executive Director of Fundraising for its Urban Park Expansion and Improvements.
“We are fortunate and excited to have an exceptional leader with a wealth of fundraising experience and a passion for the transformation of downtown San Antonio,” said Andres Andujar, CEO of Hemisfair Park Area Redevelopment Corporation. “We look forward to working with Ms. Krause as she builds a foundation that supports exceptional open space, dynamic programming, and innovative education and recreation opportunities for people of all ages and abilities at Hemisfair.”
Ms. Krause is charged with the creation and direction of the Hemisfair Conservancy, a separate 501(c)3 non-profit organization overseen by an independent Board of Directors soon to be established. The Hemisfair Conservancy will raise, manage, and allocate philanthropic dollars for park improvement projects.
Following Ms. Krause’s tenure as an Officer in the United States Air Force, she has served in various leadership roles with non-profits for over 14 years. Additionally, she has experience as a philanthropy consultant for a Fortune 200 company and a private family foundation. Ms. Krause has distinguished herself through service to country and community. She is currently serving as Immediate Past President of the Alamo Heights School Foundation and as a Trustee of the Southwest School of Art. Ms. Krause began her position with Hemisfair on January 27th.
