The Hemisfair Coalition and PULSE are excited to announce the first-ever FitFest, a fitness and health fair that will provide free workouts and free health education for the public. FitFest is part of the Mayor’s Fitness Council calendar and is the first event of its kind to be held at Yanaguana Garden.  

The day’s schedule is full of free workouts already popular all over San Antonio, including Smart Barre, King William CrossFit, Parkour and Rio Fit Zumba. The schedule also includes children’s activities with the Junior League of San Antonio’s Let’s Go San Antonio, dodgeball games with the San Antonio Sports and Social Club and demonstrations and games from RoTenGo San Antonio. 

FitFest will also include health and fitness vendors providing free information on products and services, including Whole Foods Market, the San Antonio Food Bank, University Health System, Soler’s Sports, information and a demonstration from JoyRide, Girls On the Run, Work Out Help Out, Dimas Fitness and BCycle.  Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Joseph E. Coffee, Poppi and Sons, Truckin Tomato, Box Street Social and North Shore Shaved Iced.  DJ Adolfo will keep the morning upbeat and fun with music and games. 

FitFest will be held April 30, 2016 from 9am to 1pm. The event is free and open to the public. Yanaguana Garden, including play features such as the splash pad and climbing structures, will be open to the public as usual.
